Jason Wright=

Jason Wright is an artist who creates dramatic paintings through the use of geometric lines and complex perspectives. Inspired by the dwellings in which we live, common objects, and the beauty of simplicity, the work brings life to sometimes overlooked and forgotten elements of our land.  His pared-down images are distilled to their essence and portrayed with graphic style in precise shapes, bold lines and strong colors, giving them immediacy and vigor. With his signature hard-edge style, Wright's work is at its heart a study of the beauty of isolation.

"I paint what I see.  You can stand anywhere in the world, look any direction, and you will see hard vs soft. The terra with its hard geometric lines against the sky and its fluidity,” states Wright.

At age 16, Wright was working for Quicksilver, a laid back retailer in Honolulu until he become bored and returned to the life of a surfer.  Once he hit the University of Hawaii, however, he again became serious about his craft.

Over the years  Jason's  artwork has been featured in numerous publications, news segments, and design shows, some of which include:  NBC NEWS, HGTV, HAWAII MODERN LUXURY, DC MODERN LUXURY, WASHINGTONIAN, DAILY CANDY, BEAUTIFUL DECAY, WHERE WASHINGTON, THE SKATEBOARD MAG, SURFER MAGAZINE, THE WASHINGTON POST EXPRESS, ART NEWS, THE GEORGETOWNER, THE WASHINGTON TIMES, THE EXAMINER, and 2MODERN.
