ARTIST STATEMENT

 

Previously, a representational painter, I used pastels to paint sea, marsh and landscape scenes. Looking to move to a new direction I took the opportunity to study with abstract artists, Laura Pollak, a pastel artist and CalvinEdward Ramsburg, an acrylic abstract artist. Both artist motivated and informed my painting.
